Project Description
This projects aims at providing an Augmented Reality demonstration of "high level" real-time graphics rendering functionalities, to be tested on VR/AR headsets. Implemented in Unity and AR Foundation, the goal is to illustrate how specific real-time graphics pipeline functionalities may be rendered, by displaying them in an Augmented Reality environment. Showcasing features such as surface detection, light sources, sensors input, hand tracking, etc., to illustrate how a Spatial Computing environment may be matched with a spatial layout of virtual models, rendered and illuminated in real time.
Technology or Computational Component
This project uses Unity and AR Foundation. An optional part of this project is to complement a C# implementation with GPU shaders in HLSL.
