Hosted by the Anita Borg Institute in partnership with the ACM, GHC offers career fairs, networking events, seminars, workshops, and an array of speakers from all aspects of computing and technology. This year’s Celebration will take place in Phoenix, AZ October 8-10, 2014. Check out this video that TechCrunch posted after last year’s celebration or read this blog post from IU student & CEWiT intern Chelsie Kasun for more information about GHC.
Thanks to a grant from the IU Women's Philanthropy Council, CEWiT is is offering scholarships that will cover the cost of registration, air fare, and hotel. To be eligible, you must be a current Indiana University-Bloomington student (undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc will all be considered). Each scholarship recipient will be required to post a minimum of one blog entry during the conference and one blog entry afterward documenting her experiences. Additionally, she will be required to discuss her experiences in person while sitting on a panel with other attendees at CEWiT’s annual Techie Women Have More… conference March 6-7, 2015.
