FREE Scrum training for students

Thursday, January 7, 2016

Ever heard of Agile and Scrum? If you haven't, you should brush up. Agile is the leading management methodology used at successful companies across the globe.

Learn the basics at our 2-day training course tailored for beginners. This class is offered elsewhere for $2,000, but CEWiT will be providing it to 20 IUB students for FREE!

Experts from beLithe, Inc. will teach the course from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday, January 30 and Sunday, January 31 in Informatics East 150. Chosen participants must attend both days of training. At the end of the training, participants should be prepared to take the Certified Scrum Master Certification online exam at their expense.

We offered this course in the fall, and here's what some of the participants had to say about it:

  • "Everything I learned in the training program I will be able to start applying immediately, both in my classes and with recruiters of companies I'm hoping to work for."

  • "I thought the training was great… I could see how incredibly useful the knowledge I was gaining was, and found the presentation riveting the entire time. Both Tana and Chris were excellent presenters, with a wealth of knowledge on the subject, and loads of enthusiasm… I am so thankful for this opportunity to learn about Scrum."
