CEWiT Summit Registration Opens

Registration is now open for the 2017 CEWiT Summit.

The CEWiT Summit is an annual technology conference held on the IU Bloomington campus by the IU Center of Excellence for Women in Technology (CEWiT). 2017 will mark our fourth year hosting this event.

Formerly known as the Techie Women Have More... conference, the CEWiT Summit aims to provide women at all levels (faculty, staff, students, alumnae, and community members) from multiple disciplines with the opportunity to learn about and experience technology across a variety of skill levels so they realize that they can make a difference with technology!

On Friday, February 10, we'll host breakout sessions that are designed for faculty, staff, and Ph.D students and the following events that are open to all: free professional headshot photos, a networking mocktail hour, and a banquet wtih a presentations of the Outstanding Faculty and Staff Mentor-Advocated Awards and the Outstanding Student Leader award, followed by a keynote address presented by Karen Catlin, an advocate for women in the tech industry, a leadership coach, a TEDx speaker, and co-author of "Present! A Techies Guide to Public Speaking."

On Saturday, February 11, we've focused the day for students but anyone can attend the Career Expo, a plenary address from Tiffany Trusty, a self-described “Code-writing monkey, Entrepreneur, Security Jockey, Mother, Wife, and Daughter”, and over 15 breakout sessions.
