Celebrate GIS Day with talk by CEWiT member Sara Pryor

Explore 3D visualizations, earthquake models, disaster resistance mapping, and other applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) on November 20 at the Herman Wells Library. Meet local GIS professionals and learn more about their work through interactive activities and displays. At 1pm, the Polis Center of IUPUI will discuss the use of GIS techniques in creating a disaster resistant university. A keynote address on "The Climate Science Puzzle" by Provost Professor of Atmospheric Science and CEWiT Advisory Board member Sara Pryor will conclude the event.
