CEWiT Summit Speaker Spotlight: Tiffany Trusty

Tiffany Trusty, a self-described “Code-writing monkey, Entrepreneur, Security Jockey, Mother, Wife, and Daughter,” will present the plenary address at CEWiT’s 4th annual technology conference, the CEWiT Summit (formerly known as Techie Women Have More…).
In this 30-minute presentation, Tiffany Trusty shares her 20-year journey as a woman in tech. Her journey starts at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where she was the 2nd woman to graduate from the previously all male, #1 in its class school; through a 16-year career in public safety with Motorola; on to Freelancing, Consulting & Teaching, and celebrates the constant entrepreneurial and mentor sparks that guide her passions. Lastly, Tiffany will share her advice for succeeding as a woman in tech.
Tiffany is currently the Director of Apprenticeship at Eleven Fifty Code Academy, President of her own consulting firm Trusty Applications, and a board member for Women & Hi Tech. Tiffany was one of the first women accepted at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where she received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering Management. She worked at Motorola for 16 years as a software engineer, has freelanced as a software developer, and taught coding.
