Two CEWiT-affiliated  programs were recently featured in videos by the IU Office of the Provost, the Research Experiences for Undergraduate Women program (REU-W) and the Women in STIM Living-Learning Community (STIM Floor).

The REU-W program was initiated as a way to give IU women at the beginning of their academic careers an opportunity to gain experience in a STIM field, practice research and presentation skills, and build a mentoring relationship with IU faculty. The program matches freshmen and sophomores with faculty mentors across a wide range of disciplines to conduct technology- or computing-related research. Those interested in applying next year should watch this page for announcements.

The STIM Living-Learning Community, located in Forest Quad, is another great resource for IU techie women. In addition to creating a supportive network of students and faculty, the program provides residents with career development opportunities, summer research experiences, laboratory tours, and more.
